SCAN WITH A PLAN owner, Carla Zimmerman, has over 30 years of hands-on professional archival and library experience in historical societies, special libraries, academic repositories, and her own family's historical collections. Carla is a consultant on archival management, specializing in local historical and family papers. She has a Master of Library Science degree, as well as a certificate in Museum Studies.
While SWAP is organizing or digitizing your precious items, they will be in a safe and stable environment. Carla will treat your treasures as she would her own. Upon finishing the project and returning the originals and product to you, Carla will provide any desired instruction for use of the finished product or for continuing on your own.
Carla is a member of the Society of American Archivists and the Society of North Carolina Archivists. She is based in eastern North Carolina.
